Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is the most accurate and efficient simulation method for solving complex design problems.

DDI engineers can evaluate a part or assembly’s performance in a variety of different environments before a single part is made. It reduces tooling costs, speeds up production and ensures the correct geometry and material selection.

Finite element analysis is used to determine fatigue, strains, stresses, and structural integrity of machinery and components. FEA can be used for Mechanical design optimization, increasing safety, controlling vibrations, reducing weight, and extending component life. The following can be evaluated:

The Benefits to You:

Accurate Results and Experience are Critical

The engineers at DDI have been performing analysis since 1995. We have many years of experience, with a wide variety of applications.

With a wealth of understanding and knowledge in the mechanical and manufacturing fields, our experience with FEA is second to none.

You can rely on us to deliver. Our skilled techniques developed over many years help assure more accurate results.

We always offer the assistance to help you understand your specific problems and how to solve them best.

Nothing is too difficult. Tough geometries, complex analyses, and large assemblies are our specialty.

Cost

Analysis are normally quoted as a total cost up front so that the customer can make a decision beforehand.

Analysis can usually be performed for between $500 and $5,000. Optimization of designs requires multiples analysis and costs more but usually are completed for under $10,000. The time and resources saved from design optimization often makes for an excellent investment.
